Privacy policy
This page describes the data practices for the current MassageFinder rebuild. It is an operational policy page based on the app’s live features and current repo guidance. It is not legal advice.

What we collect

The current product may collect business and contact information through the public directory, owner submission flows, and lead forms.

  • reviewed business listing facts such as name, city, website, booking link, phone, and hours
  • lead form details such as name, email, phone, and message when a user contacts a listing
  • owner submission details when a business submits or updates a listing
  • account details needed for sign-in or listing management when authentication is enabled
  • search inputs such as postal code, radius, and service type used to return nearby results

Why we collect it

We collect data to operate a reviewed local directory and support core user actions.

  • to publish and maintain accurate business profiles
  • to route lead requests to the relevant listing owner or manager
  • to review and process listing submissions, corrections, and claim requests
  • to power location-based search and directory filtering
  • to support account access when owners manage listings directly

Source and review model

Public listing pages are built from reviewed first-party or official business sources. We do not treat third-party directory pages, reseller pages, or editorial roundups as canonical business truth for public listing facts.

If a business claims a listing or submits corrections, those updates may be reviewed before public publication.

Lead handling

If you submit a lead form, the details you provide may be stored so the relevant listing owner can review and respond. Lead details are used for communication and operational follow-up, not for unrelated publication in the public directory.

Maps, external links, and third parties

The search experience may use OpenStreetMap-based mapping and geocoding services to resolve postal codes or map clicks into nearby reviewed results. Listing pages also link to external business websites or booking pages. Those external destinations have their own privacy practices and terms.

Retention and correction

We aim to keep directory facts current, but listing data may become stale between reviews. Businesses can request corrections or listing updates through the listing and claim workflow.

If you want a listing corrected, claimed, or reviewed, use the listing submission or claim process described on the public site.

Policy updates

This rebuild is still evolving. If new analytics, cookies, advertising systems, payment flows, or owner-management features are activated, this page should be updated in the same change so the public policy stays aligned with actual product behavior.
